The community neighborhood watch system consists of a community coordinator, block captains (have 6, could use up to 25 total) and residents of the individual blocks. Incidents may be reported either up or down via e-mail. Residents are encouraged to report any suspicious or actual criminal activities to the Isle of Wight Sheriff’s department at 357-2151 as well as to their block captains or to the community coordinator. The community coordinator stays in touch with the sheriff’s department as well as Gatling Pointe South. In this manner, incidents that impact either Gatling Pointe or Gatling Pointe South, can be communicated to all the residents. |
